What should we build next? Ideas and requests

discussionsfeature-requestsroadmap
Summit (from the Herald forum) posted

What would make Herald better for you? Drop feature ideas, app requests, and rough edges here.

A few prompts to get started:

  • An integration or service you wish was supported

  • A small quality-of-life fix

  • An app idea you would use every day

No idea is too small. We read everything.

I was working in Studio on a very niche app for my newborn, but I'm very inexperienced in coding and troubleshooting so was having issues. Essentially:

A newborn care log app. Parents log feeds (breast: side + duration, or bottle: ounces), diapers (wet/dirty), and sleep using a long-press quick-log gesture menu, with pinch to confirm and swipe to navigate. The main screen is a glanceable HUD showing: name, birthday, time since last feed, last feed details, estimated time to next feed, today's diaper counts, and how long the baby has been asleep. Includes a live timer screen while a feed is running (pinch to start/stop).

    Possible option to export/share logs.
