Community Guidelines
Hubs is a place for people to gather, talk and make things together. These guidelines apply everywhere on Hubs: hubs, channels, direct messages, voice and video, public posts and profiles. Hubs can add their own rules on top of these.
Follow the law
Don’t use Hubs to plan, promote or carry out anything illegal, including selling illegal goods or services.
Keep children safe
We have zero tolerance for anything that sexualizes or endangers children. Never share, request or link to child sexual abuse material, and never groom, sexually message or exploit a minor. We remove this content, close the accounts involved and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Respect people
- No harassment or bullying. Don’t target people with insults, unwanted contact, pile-ons or efforts to get around a block.
- No hate. Don’t attack people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious illness or age.
- No threats or violence. Don’t threaten anyone, encourage violence or celebrate attacks. If someone is talking about hurting themselves, encourage them to reach out for help. In the US, they can call or text 988.
- No sexual content involving people who didn’t agree. Never share intimate images of someone without their consent.
Be honest
- No spam or scams. No unwanted bulk messages, phishing, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes or attempts to trick people out of money, accounts or information.
- No impersonation. Don’t pretend to be another person, a brand or our team. Parody is fine when it is clearly labeled.
- No fake engagement. Don’t use automated or bulk accounts to manipulate conversations, votes or giveaways.
Protect privacy
Don’t share someone’s private information, such as a home address, phone number, government ID, financial details or private messages, without their permission. No doxxing, and no recording people without the consent the law and our recording tools require.
Keep Hubs secure
Don’t share malware or harmful links, try to break into accounts or hubs, or interfere with the service or other people’s use of it.
Respect creators
Share only content you have the right to share. Don’t post other people’s copyrighted work or trademarks in ways that infringe their rights.
How to report a problem
- Use Report on a message, post or profile. Reports in a hub go to that hub’s moderators; reports about public posts and profiles come to our team.
- Block someone at any time to stop them from contacting you.
- For anything urgent, such as child safety or a threat to someone’s life, write to us at contact@ascents.gg and contact local emergency services.
When rules are broken, hub moderators and our team may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts and hubs, as described in our Terms of Service. You can appeal a decision from the notice in the app or by writing to contact@ascents.gg.
