Add a passkey
Sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of typing a password.
A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. Nothing to type, and nothing for anyone to steal.
- Open Account settings, then Security & safety, then Passkeys.
- Enter your current password to see your saved passkeys.
- Give the new one a Passkey name, like personal laptop.
- Choose Add a passkey and follow your device's prompt.
Next time, type your handle on the sign-in page and choose Sign in with a passkey.
You can keep up to 10 passkeys. Removing one signs out your other devices, just in case.
