Set up your profile
Your display name, status and color, and a different look in each community if you like.
Your profile is what people see when they tap your name.
Change your profile
- Open the You menu and choose Account settings.
- Choose Profile, then Account.
- Add a Photo, or pick a Profile color for the circle with your initials. A full-size phone photo is fine: Hubs makes it smaller for you without losing quality.
- Change your Display name (up to 48 characters) and your Status, a short line about what you are up to.
- Open Introduction to write a little about yourself.
- Choose Save profile. Preview shows how it looks first.
You can also change your color from your own profile card: select your name or picture anywhere, then pick a color under Profile color. It saves right away, and everyone sees the new color.
A different profile in each community
You can show a different name, note, color and picture in each community. Go to Profile, then Community, and pick the community. Or open the hub menu, choose You in this hub, and edit Your profile here.
A community picture can be a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 25 MB, made smaller for you. Choose Save community profile when you are done, or Use account profile to go back to your usual one.
