Stay safe from scams
What the link warnings mean, and the one rule that keeps your account safe.
Hubs will never ask for your password, recovery phrase or a wallet transaction in a message or a link. Anyone who does is not us.
- You're leaving Hubs shows before a link opens another site. Choose Stay on Hubs if you did not expect it.
- We blocked this link means it is a known scam. It will not open.
- Careful shows on links that ask you to verify, claim or connect something. That is a common trick.
- Messages from someone new show You don't know this person yet, with a Report scam button.
Hubs also stops you if you are about to paste a recovery phrase, a private key or a token into a message.
Badges help too. A real Hubs team member carries the Hubs staff badge. Look out for Not Hubs staff on someone who claims to be.
