Moderate your hub
For owners and moderators: timeouts, bans, slow mode and the audit log.
Owners, admins and moderators can keep a hub calm with tools built into Hubs. No extra bots needed.
On a message or a person
Open Moderate on a message or someone's profile. You can warn, time out, mute in voice, kick or ban them, delete the message, or remove their recent messages. Add a reason so your team knows why.
- Timeout lasts from 5 minutes up to a week.
- Ban can also remove their messages from the last hour, day or week.
- Kick removes them from the hub. They can appeal.
For a whole channel
In Manage, under channel safety, you can turn on Slow mode (from 5 seconds to an hour between messages), block link domains, and pick channel moderators.
When things get out of hand
Lockdown pauses new joins, posting and voice for everyone but staff, for up to a day. Members can still read, ask for support and appeal.
Message filters in the staff home can block or hold messages with words, links or files you choose. They are off until you set them up.
Owners and admins can see who changed what in the Audit log.
Many at once
I built these for the night a raid hits. In Members, sort by Newest joined or pick Joined: Last 10 minutes, select everyone, then choose Ban and give one reason. Over 25 people, you type the number to confirm. Undo stays for 30 seconds, and anyone banned can still appeal.
The same bar can Warn, Time out, Remove or change a Role for everyone selected, as your staff tier allows. In Channels and rooms, tick channels to move, archive, set slow mode or apply a permission preset in one go. If something can't change, I list it and say why.
In the staff queue, press T to take an item, R to resolve it (with Undo) and Shift X to select a range. Press ? to see every key.
